The Central Statistical Office (CSO) has just released data on the number of people visiting Trinidad and Tobago during the last Carnival season.
The more than 37,000 people who visited spent an estimated $334 million.
What the CSO needs to reveal to the public is how much did the government spend for Carnival.
How much was lost by the government and private sector due to the Carnival “holidays”?
The CSO must also inform the public how many Trinidadians left the country during the long Carnival weekend.
