Several new stores have opened recently at Park City Center, including Sunrise Soap Co., Shoe Carnival and underwear retailer Aerie.
— Sunrise Soap Co., which makes and sells hand-crafted soaps, body butters, scrubs and balms, has opened in a roughly 4,500-square-foot space at The Fountain Shoppes.
Employees make products at the shop, which also gives customers the chance to make their own soaps and balms. There are five employees.
Owner Christina Clarke also has Sunrise Soap locations in York and Gettysburg as well as a stand in New Eastern Market in York. Clarke also briefly operated a shop in downtown Lancaster that opened in 2006 at 44 N. Queen St.
— Shoe Carnival has opened in a roughly 11,400-square-foot space in the Sears Wing. The shoe retailer had previously operated at Parkview Plaza, the shopping center across Plaza Boulevard from the mall.
Based in Evansville, Indiana, Shoe Carnival operates some 400 U.S. stores. It previously had a store in Mill Creek Square, the East Lampeter shopping center at 2350 Lincoln Highway E.
— Aerie, a retailer of lingerie and intimate apparel, has opened in the Bon-Ton Wing, taking a 3,400-square-foot space. Aerie is a lingerie and activewear brand of American Eagle Outfitters.
