The Reithoffer Shows Carnival celebrates its 23rd year in the Staten Island Mall parking lot, daily from 5 to 11 p.m. at 2655 Richmond Ave. in New Springville.
On warm weekend nights through May 29, you can catch the family-fun tradition packed with rollercoaster-riding, cotton candy-eating Staten Islanders. (Check out the gallery above and video below for a peek at opening night and weekend.)
“My favorite part is seeing how excited the kids get,” said a Reithoffer staffer, greeting guests at the gate. “We’re just a bunch of big kids working here.”
The Carnival typically takes over the Staten Island Mall parking lot. With the ongoing construction of the Mall, the carnival has moved from the area by the Macy’s wing to the Primark and Sear’s wing.
