Eastwood Field kicked off a carnival tonight for an organization called Hannah’s Vision.
Hannah’s Vision was created in honor of a little girl who has been fighting an inoperable brain tumor for the past year.
Hannah’s mother says they want to give other families in their situation the help they’ve been able to receive.
“Throughout the past year, the silver lining in all of it has been the people that have gone and just rallied around us,” said Hannah’s mother, Sarah Tringhese. “We have never gone without. We have had so many people just lift us up, and God has sent so many people our way to help us out.”
The carnival will have fireworks, rides, a variety of food vendors and live bands.
The band schedule is:
- Friday, 6 p.m. to midnight – Highland Rose and John Dante and the Inferno
- Saturday, 6 p.m. to midnight – The Rage and Anger the Ant
- Sunday, 1p.m. To 11 p.m. – The Acoustic Jones, K Street, Taylor Borton and The Black Wolf and The Thief
The carnival will also have clowns, balloon animals, a ukulele duo, a daily 50/50 raffle and a dunking booth.
The carnival continues through Sunday.
