ISHPEMING– The Greater Ishpeming-Negaunee Chamber of Commerce usually puts on events for adults. But tonight it was all about kids. The chamber, along with J-Goods Plumbing, Heating and Cooling held a children’s carnival at River Rock Lanes.

There were events inside and outside for kids of all ages. The chamber says they’re excited to do this for the community.

Danielle LaCavalla, GINCC Executive Director says, “We’ve had some great donations. Every game from balloon darts, to a bouncy house that’s behind me, to a dunk tank is featured here. It’s really going to be a fun event for kids and it’s free . We’re so excited that we can do that for the community.”

The goal of the event is to also help engage and benefit the community. This is the first time the chamber has put on an event for children like this one.
