Beautiful woman. The only thing that makes me grin is the title, "Afro African" anything with Afro in front is suppose to be related to Africa. So Afro-African is a tautology.

    Looking good.
Sometimes I worry that Carnival will become like the fahion, print, tv media in Brazil. No brown skin. During the closing ceremonies of the London Olympics, they used a fashion model as a Carnival samba dancer instead of an actual Carnival dancer.

so she doesn't dance much, just struts..

    She's not African, she's Brazilian.

Don't fall into the wrong assumption Americans fall into. I've had a lot of discussions because of this.

Your ancestor's, grandfather's nor even your parent's place of birth makes you from that nationality.

If Evelyn's parents or ancestors were born in Africa and she was born in Brazil, that makes her a Brazilian, not an African.

People in the United States fall into the wrong assumption that just because you have parents from another country, that makes you from that nationality, but that's wrong, it's understandable they want to keep their roots and culture, but to be born in the US and call yourself Mexican, Brazilian, Iranian, etc, just because your parents were born there, is simply wrong.
