The 2017 Hutchinson Jaycee Water Carnival committee and the 2017 Queen candidates will be hitting Hutchinson neighborhoods this Sunday (May 21st) selling buttons at the annual event gets closer.
Water Carnival buttons are $3 each and come with benefits, including free admission to see the queen and princess crowned at the June 18th coronation at Maplewood Academy and permission to search for the Water Carnival Medallion. The prize for finding the medallion is $500!
There are some new events this year, including “KnockerBall” and “Foot Darts.” Both events are free. “Foot Darts” is an event in which contestents play darts with a Velcro football and a 22ft high sticky dartboard.
Organizers are also looking for food and activity vendors to participate in the festival. Organizers say space is limited, so early sign up is encouraged.
Access to special deals from area businesses, event rules and regulations, registration for events, and other information is available by clicking the Water Carnival button below.
The 75th annual Hutchinson Jaycee Water Carnival will be June 10th -18th.
