Traditionally, a wedding ring is worn on the fourth finger (thumb included) of the left hand in many parts of the world. This is based on the belief that the Latin name ”vena amoris” or ”vein of love” ran directly from the heart to this finger. There are other people in parts of the world such as Germany, Chile, and Russia who wear wedding rings on the right hand.
With the wealth of options now available to men in terms of wedding rings, it is important that the groom chooses a wedding ring that suits them as well as representing their love and commitment to their partner. They will also be wearing the ring for the rest of their lives so making the right choice is very important.
